Parking options

Since 1 August 2023, visitors are no longer allowed to park on the street in the historic city centre.

The zone lies between Brouwersvliet, Ankerrui, Leien, Scheldestraat, Kronenbrugstraat, Kasteelstraat and the river Scheldt. The adjacent streets do not count. This means that you can still park on these streets (see Welkom | antwerpen.be, n.d.).

See the map provided by the city of Antwerp to get a visual image of the zone.

If you do want to get into the historic centre with your car, visitors should use public car parks within the centre. You can also use the Park & Ride located at the city limits (Welkom | antwerpen.be, n.d.).

It is important to note that you are also not allowed to charge electrically in the parking zone. In public car parks, however, you may use the charging stations.

The office is located at Sint-Pietersvliet 3, 2000 Antwerp. It is located in the Nordic building on the second floor. Brouwersvliet is around the corner, which means you can still park there.

The public car parks near us are the following:

  • Parking Rijnkaai Scheldekaaien (outside the parking zone)
  • Parking Grote Markt (within parking zone)
  • Q-park Godefriduskaai (outside the parking zone)
